UC Health and Cincinnati Opera partner for a free, virtual World Voice Day symposium to celebrate the phenomenon of the human voice. Tune in live via YouTube on Friday, April 16, from 2:00 p.m.-4:30 p.m.

Attendees will:

• Learn how to care for, protect, and celebrate their voices.

• Hear perspectives from clinicians, physicians, educators, and performers (including operatic soprano Jessica Rivera), and Cincinnati Opera’s Evans Mirageas.

• Enjoy performances by Cincinnati Opera artists Christian Pursell and Victoria Okafor.

• Learn about the importance of vocal health, especially for those in professional and performance voice-related fields.

• Learn how to train the body and voice for optimal performance.
