$16 Student tickets
Full-time college students may purchase tickets for $16*, based on availability, beginning Monday, the week of the performance. Students must present a valid, full-time student ID at Will Call in order to pick up tickets ordered online or by phone (no e-ticket delivery available). Seating is assigned at the discretion of the box office. Limit two tickets per eligible student.
FREE TICKETS FOR GRADES 7-12
Thanks to a generous grant made to Cincinnati Opera, a limited number of complimentary tickets are available for students in grades 7-12. Up to two tickets per eligible student (maximum of four per household) will be available for select performances of either Lalovavi or Carmen. The complimentary tickets are intended for use by students in grades 7-12 or the student(s) and guardian. Some restrictions apply. Click below for complete details and to submit a request.

All tickets have been claimed, and we are no longer accepting new requests for free tickets. If you submitted a request in the past week, you'll receive a confirmation prior to the show.
If you missed this opportunity, remember that students are still eligible for $16 tickets the week of the show—up to 2 tickets per student with valid ID.

HOW DO I GET STUDENT TICKETS?
ONLINE:
Student tickets may be purchased HERE. Online per-ticket fees apply; $10/order Will Call fee waived.
PHONE:
Student tickets may be purchased by calling the Cincinnati Opera Box Office at 513-241-2742 from 12:00 p.m.-5:00 p.m., beginning Monday the week of the performance through Friday, and beginning at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, the day of the performance. Per-ticket fees apply; $10/order Will Call fee waived.
IN PERSON:
Student tickets may be purchased in person at the Cincinnati Opera Box Office (1243 Elm Street) beginning on Monday, the week of the performance, through Friday, from 12:00 p.m.-5:00 p.m. Additionally, the Cincinnati Opera Box Office opens for ticket transactions from 12:00 p.m.-5:00 p.m. on Saturdays, the day of the performance. The night of the performance, Music Hall Box Office (1241 Elm Street) opens at 6:00 p.m.
