Frequently Asked Questions

2022 Summer Festival Schedule Change

Preparations are underway for our 2022 Summer Festival, and we can’t wait to see you back at Music Hall and SCPA! Due to unforeseen conflicts with our previously announced 2022 performance dates, we’ve made some adjustments to our performance schedule. If you are a current ticket holder for any of our 2022 productions, your performance date(s) may have been affected by these changes. Please read the information below for answers to frequently asked questions, and reach out to our Box Office at 513-241-2742 for personal assistance. We thank you for your flexibility and understanding.

+ What is the new 2022 season performance schedule?

Please visit our 2022 Summer Festival page to view the updated performance schedule. All of the adjusted performance dates take place within the original Summer Festival timeline (June 18–July 31, 2022).

+ Why is the performance schedule changing?

In December 2021, FC Cincinnati released its 2022 game schedule, and we discovered that several of our announced performance times conflict with match times. Due to the proximity of FC Cincinnati’s stadium and concerns about the availability of parking and sound interference, we’ve decided to make adjustments to our schedule. The revised performance schedule falls within the original 2022 Summer Festival date range (June 18–July 31, 2022). We believe these adjustments will help to ensure the best possible operagoing experience for valued patrons like you.

+ Is the 2022 performance schedule affected by COVID-19?

These schedule adjustments are unrelated to COVID-19. We’re looking forward to presenting our full, five-opera season featuring world-class singers and vibrant productions with full capacity seating. We’ll continue to follow current health and safety protocols in order to ensure the safety of our audience, artists, and staff. Please visit our Health & Safety page for more information.

+ I am a 2022 season subscriber. How are my tickets affected?

As a result of our performance schedule adjustments, your 2022 subscription now includes one or more new performance dates. Your tickets have been automatically transferred into your new performance dates, and your seating location remains the same. You will receive a letter with your updated schedule in the coming days. Please keep an eye on your mailbox! You may also log into your account now to view your performance schedule.

If you are happy with your new dates, you’re all set! No further action is needed. Your tickets will be mailed to you in April.

Both the Saturday, June 25 performance of La Bohème and the Friday, July 29 performance of Aida will take place as originally scheduled. If you purchased pre-sale tickets, no further action is needed.
