Virtual Opera Chats: Harriet Tubman

Join us on Zoom on Tuesday, July 7 at 5 PM for a conversation about American Opera Project's 2014 opera Harriet Tubman: When I Crossed That Line to FreedomThe two-act work (available for free online streaming here) tells of how a young girl born in slavery became Harriet Tubman, the legendary Underground Railroad conductor.

Cincinnati Opera’s Evans Mirageas will be joined by two special guests—the opera’s composer and librettist Nkeiru Okoye, and director Jonathon Field.

This event is free, but registration is required.
