Julian Mitchell’s After Aida, part of Cincinnati Opera’s first-ever virtual Winter Festival, offers an intimate look at the life of composer Giuseppe Verdi and the creation of his late-career masterpiece Otello. Cincinnati Opera’s Evans Mirageas will lead a conversation with Ensemble Theatre Cincinnati’s Producing Artistic Director D. Lynn Meyers and actors Bruce Cromer and Torie Wiggins about the staged reading of the play, including the rewards and challenges of bringing the script to life online.
