What if the future of opera wasn’t something we waited for, but something we created?

Cincinnati Opera Young Professionals (COYP) invite you to Bacchanal: FUTUREGLOW—a party where music, fashion, and art collide in a radiant expression of creativity and community, raising funds in support of Cincinnati Opera’s 2026 Summer Festival.

This year, we are celebrating the light we choose to create: the spark within us all that shapes the world we imagine. Inspired by the groundbreaking new opera, Lalovavi, experience an immersive fashion show featuring Afrofuturist designers and other visionary artists presented by Me by Lee, along with live performances by Cincinnati Opera artists and Lalovavi librettist and spoken word artist Tifara Brown, and of course, plenty of dancing.

This isn’t just another party — it’s a movement that proves opera isn’t stuck in the past. It’s beaming forward, and with you, its future glows even brighter.

To bring opera to Cincinnati in bold, imaginative ways, cultivating the next generation of opera lovers. Through creative experiences and community connection, Bacchanal works to break down the barriers of entry to the opera and continues to strengthen Cincinnati’s vibrant cultural landscape. Let’s SHINE, baby!
You’ll experience a high-style runway show featuring Afrofuturistic and contemporary designers, live performances by Cincinnati Opera artists and Lalovavi librettist Tifara Brown. Try your luck in a raffle and other interactive experiences and celebrate your signature glow at our various photo-ops. Dance your way into the rest of the evening.

Absolutely! We will be offering dessert-heavy, late-night snacks, but we do encourage dining at one of the fabulous restaurants near SITE1212 in OTR beforehand. Might we suggest Pepp & Dolores, MadTree Alcove, Safi, or Sacred Beast?
Yes! You may purchase General Admission, Prism, and Twin Flames tickets at the door, but please note that a small transaction fee will accompany the purchase. If you purchase online prior the event, there is no transaction fee. Online ticket sales will stop at 12:00 p.m. Saturday, February 28, 2026.
There is ample parking in the surrounding OTR area. However, given the open bar ambiance of the event, we highly encourage the use of ride-sharing apps or public transit for a carefree and enjoyable evening.
