Major Donor Parking

Major Donor Parking

What does it mean to be a donor to Cincinnati Opera?
As a nonprofit cultural institution, Cincinnati Opera is supported by the generosity of individual donors, foundations, corporations, and the Fine Arts Fund. In fact, ticket sales account for only one-quarter of our operating budget.

How do I become a donor?
Giving to Cincinnati Opera is easy. You can...

All contributions to Cincinnati Opera are tax-deductible and  provide donors with many special benefits.

What is a "major donor"?
A minimum annual contribution at the Ambassadors Society level ($3,000) qualifies you for major donor status. As a benefit for this level of giving, major donors receive Donor Lounge passes, staff escort to the Green Room following performances (upon request), an autographed season poster, admission to all Opening Night Parties, and complimentary parking at the major donor parking lot during Cincinnati Opera’s Summer Festival—along with all of the benefits of prior donor levels.

Are there plans to improve the parking around Music Hall?
Yes! The 450-space Washington Park Garage is now open to the public. The two entrance/exits are located on Elm Street across from Music Hall, and on Race Street at 13th Street. Staffed 24 hours per day, the rate is $1 per hour up to an $8 maximum. Evenings and weekends, park for just $1 an hour up to a $3 maximum.

Will the lot between Music Hall and Memorial Hall be available in the future?
In 2012 the Memorial Hall lot will accommodate major donors with passes for all subscription nights (June 14 & 16, June 28 & 30, and July 26 & 28). Space for general parking will be available for $10 during single ticket performance nights only (July 6 & 8).
