Join us on Sunday, June 8 at 7 p.m. as we kick off the season with a magical evening of music in Washington Park. This free outdoor concert for the community, just across the street from Music Hall, will feature a selection of opera and musical theater favorites performed by stars from the 2014 season, the Cincinnati Opera Chorus, and the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra.Hosted by Evans Mirageas, The Harry T. Wilks Artistic Director of Cincinnati Opera, the event will feature singers including Laquita Mitchell, Elizabeth Pojanowski, Alexandra Schoeny, Kara Shay Thomson, Aaron Blake, William Burden, Joseph Lattanzi, Daniel Okulitch, and Nathan Stark. Artists will perform selections from Carmen, Madame Butterfly, West Side Story, La Bohème, La Traviata, and more.
