Cincinnati Opera and Cincinnati World Cinema are pleased to present the definitive film version of Bizet’s Carmen on February 14 and 15 at The Carnegie Arts Center. Filmed in the original Spanish settings of the opera, the city of Seville and the region of Andalusia, the movie features renowned tenor Plácido Domingo as Don José and Julia Migenes as Carmen.
Europa Café & Bistro will serve a four-course, prix fixe dinner each night before the show while guitarist Richard Goering serenades guests with flamenco and traditional Spanish songs. Reservations are required.
Movie only: $10 in advance and $12 at the door.
