Opera and the Law
Cincinnati Opera invites you to Opera and the Law, an exploration of the legal challenges faced by various characters in opera. The format will be a panel discussion moderated by Evans Mirageas, and our panelists will include some of Cincinnati’s leading attorneys and opera fans.
Topics will include Respect for the Law, Enforceability of Contracts, Freedom of Speech, and Duty to Country. We’ll also delve into some of the legal issues faced by opera companies.
The length of the program is approximately 90 minutes. Admission is free, but reservations are suggested as space is limited.
